I presented a tale in which Conan met Hawkman in the present day back in STF #1652, and I thought that a follow up cover should feature the winged hero showing up in barbarian times. Hawkman has been reincarnated throughout the years, so why not?

Why not, indeed? The science fiction of Michael Moorcock has helped popularize the concept of reincarnation via his "Eternal Champion" stories. This could even be a prequel to STF #1652! Explaining precisely what kind of debt Conan had been collecting on, in that prior issues, and exactly how Hawkman had accrued it in the first place.
BTW, I’m still waiting for a Xena/Conan crossover.
Careful, namesake. We don't wanna get Images mad at us, again!
;-)
How about Hawkman and Vultan from Flash Gordon?
@Anon655: I'm all for this being a prequel. But, I think it more likely that this is Golden Age Hawkman accidentally teleported back to Hyborian-era Stygia via contact with the mystical Scarlet Scarab gem. And that the debt alluded to (at STF #1652) was simply Conan helping him to find the gem's Hyborian-era counterpart in order to return Hawkman to the 1940's!
@Anon717: the same premise could be used for a team-up between those two characters. Autolycus (the self-proclaimed "King of Thieves") struggles with Xena over the Scarlet Scarab. Accidentally sending the both of them back to Conan's time!
Last, but not least (on behalf of Anon106 from two days ago); how about Mangog vs. Doomsday?
Well, Hawkman has been called Conan with Wings, so it makes sense.
Bigby, well hawkman did replace Vultan at one point on the blog: https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/2013/06/hawkman-and-flash-gordon.html
Another great cover. I believe I like this one better than when they met in STF #1652. Nicely done. By the way, any chance of Youngblood facing off against the Futurians at some point?
