I recently showed Back to the Future to my parents, who somehow had never seen it. Even though I have watched it many times, it still holds up really well for me. It is really a perfectly written script, there are no wasted scenes, even small throwaway lines and visuals early on in the film pay off by the ending. The cast is a ton of fun to watch, clearly having a blast in their roles. Even the Huey Louis soundtrack still gets my foot tapping. Maybe some of the old age makeup could be better done today, but other than that there's not much that can be improved upon.

Back to the Future is an awesome film. One that actually turned into a pretty good trilogy. One day, I'd like to track down the original comic book series. This new series that Bob Gale is a part of is pretty enjoyable.
I'm curious to see what is coming with this new Doctor...
Oh wow!! Two of my favorites!! Love this!! Is that all Todd Nauck art?
Glad you educated your parents!! :)
An! If only half the predictions made in 1985 had come true by the real 2015. Like, say, the permanent abolition of lawyers.
firestorm and storm? phantom blonde and phantom or she hulk becomes a purple or other color llantern?
phantom lady and phantom
Love the cover! And Back to the Future was one of the top movies I was glad to finally introduce my two girls to as they got older. (My wife and I have made a list of movies to introduce the girls to as they get older.)
Ordinaryguy2
P.S. Have you done a crossover with Doctor Who and Bill & Ted? They both travel through time in phone booths. Seems like there could be a connection.
YES! The 4th Doctor rules!!
Shag: Yup the figures are Nauck and I added in a new BG.
Anon - Bill & Ted and Dr. Who kinda met in a Booster Gold/Kang cover I did a few years back.
You are right. Back to the Future is an almost perfect movie. I expect to hear news of a remake any day now.
Maybe Bill & Ted could meet Mr. Peabody & Sherman; Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures on Saturday morning had plots similar to that of the Mr. Peabody shorts.
I'd like to see another Back to Future film but with Marty having worked with Doc for a while and being in his role now with a new kid.
Just curious. How did your parents like the movie?
They loved it, just like they loved Groundhog Day and The Princess Bride, which they had never seen either!
Phantom Lady, Blonde Phantom, and the Phantom?
@Ross: Might I suggest "Frequency" for your next family movie night?
Now, that's one I haven't seen. I've heard good things though.
Speaking of "Frequency," how about Jim Caviezel's Outlander meets the time-traveling Englishwoman from "Outlander The Series?"
