Deadman and Iron Man
With all the starts and stops in the DC movie plans, it was good to hear that Justice League Dark is still on the roster from news out of Comicon. It will be great - and long overdue - to see Deadman in live action. Meanwhile, on the Marvel side, the villains of the upcoming Captain Marvel will be The Skrulls, which opens up lots of possibilities. Could one of the heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe secretly be a Skrull in disguise? This might be a way to replace someone like Robert Downey Jr. or Chris Evans if they leave their roles.

First of all? I love that title, Ross! It's your best pun, yet. :-)
Secondly: seeing as Boston Brand is a ghost, shouldn't that be "dead action?"
Last, but not least? The presence of Skrulls might also be a great in-story explanation for why Bruce Banner and Peter Parker no longer respectively resemble Ed Norton and Toby Maguire.
This cover would have been a great twist during Tony's severe-alcoholic phase.
As for the Skrulls... that would be a wonderful twist to explain what really happened with Captain America in the comics.
And with the Skrulls, you can have cameos with the Iron Man, Cap, Spidey, etc. costumes even if the stars aren't in the suits (more work for the stunt doubles!)
Nah. Don't like that explanation and I doubt the Raimi Spider-Man trilogy will be retconned into the MCU.
Why not? Marvel's already ret-conned him into the Ultimates-verse (as the movie hero "Arachnoman").
