I remember seeing Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2 in the theaters when they were originally released, and finding them to be pretty entertaining. The plot was just ok, but the various fight scenes is allowed for were all very inventive and beautifully shot. I can't believe it been almost 20 years since they came out. I haven't seen either film since, I wonder if they would hold up well if I check them out again.
My local cable provider is rerunning them all the time! Roughly every 3 months. If you finally catch both, I would recommend that you imagine her (BK's) antagonist being someone other than David Carradine.
ReplyDeleteLike, say, maybe Will Smith?
Not bad! Although, an actual movie-capture using the live-action looks of Uma (as Kiddo-chen) and Jennifer Garner (as Elektra) might've been more fitting.
ReplyDeleteBut, I'd be willing to settle for a movie-capture cover depicting...
"Deadpool vs. Deadshot! Starring Ryan Reynolds and Mr. JPS"
@Cary: LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat would be the new Kato. sequence?
ReplyDeleteBeatrix vs. Midori Suzumebachi?
ReplyDeleteThat's Japanese for "Green Hornet," btw.
ReplyDelete@Cary: *grrrrrrrrrroooooooooooooooan*!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason Cary's suggestion above inspired this: Blue Beetle III and SP//dr.
ReplyDeleteVersus the Spider Guild of the Vega system?
ReplyDeleteI'd prefer those Golden Age Flash greats...the Spiders of Mars!
ReplyDeleteSpecial guest-appearance by Ziggy Stardust, optional.
Cool cover! Where'd the Kill Bill illustration come from?
