The final Eternals trailer was released this week, and we got a couple more glimpses of The Celestials. They look pretty impressive, we will see how much they actually do in the movie, or if they are just featured in flashback and expository scenes. If this movie deals with Celestials and Eternals, is there a chance that Eternity will be introduced? They have a bunch of other characters to debut, so that's probably a long shot - even if it would be a good place to do so.
YES! I do recall pondering, "What if Kid Eternity was Eternity's son?" And Ross, did you ever deliver!
ReplyDeleteI think we'll be seeing multiple glimpses of Celestials in the Eternals movie, but not as a main feature visually. It does turn out that Celestials are a major plot point, though, so I'm sure we'll be learning a lot more about them. I think we'll have to wait a few years longer before we see Eternity, though; we'll probably meet the Living Tribunal first.
Guess I'm ruined forever; I saw it as Universe STFU.
ReplyDelete@MHS: Wouldn't that be redundant? :)
ReplyDeleteToday's cover was sponsored by that great tasting drink that does wonders for calming the turmoil of the soul: Eterni Tea.
ReplyDeleteAwesome cover! They need to forget the reboots and bring back the original Kid Eternity and give him the power to bring back heroes who have been written out of continuity like the earth 2 Robin and so forth. He would be a can't miss hit!
ReplyDeleteLooks like Big Dad E passed the Eternity Test.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Eternals feature film? I, too, look forward to seeing how the Celestials are depicted on the silver screen. Ominous silhouette like that Danger Room Sentinel hologram from X-MEN 3? Or something more substantial, like En Sabah Nur in the prologue of X-MEN 6?
Re: the cinematic debut of Eternity Incarnate. I'd save that for the end credit teaser of DR. STRANGE 2. That is; if I were head writer for Marvel Films.
@MHS: could be worse. Eternity could have canonically named it "The Ross-verse!"
ReplyDeletePoetry not intended.
P.S.---since you're taking requests, how about Black Racer (Marvel's Serpent Solutions) vs. Black Racer (DC's New Gods)?
ReplyDeleteDaviticus; you should be in product naming: Eterni Tea is brilliant.
ReplyDelete@MHS: Yeah, but Lipton's Red Rum is to die for!
ReplyDeleteMarchHare ? When did I become Daviticus?( you should be in product naming: Eterni Tea is brilliant.) But thanks. Have a drink on Daviticus.
ReplyDeleteDaviticus; Horsefeathers; what's in a name?
