Supergirl and She-Hulk

With the final seasons of Supergirl and Black Lightning coming this year, it will be interesting to see how each series in concluded.  Superman and Lois is about to begin and Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman and The Flash have all been renewed for at least another more season beyond the upcoming one, so the CW 's DC shows are continuing.  Will Supergirl and BL retire at the end of their runs, or will they continue on and we just won't have shows that follow their adventures?  I'd prefer the latter, so that they can still be available for crossover appearances.

  1. Holy virus benefits!Having everything shut down right after you get pregnant helps raise a kid. Whole lot less bulk to cover up with partial shots and close ups.
Rumor is Kara goes into the future at series end. If so, she could easily come back when available, just ask Computer Lad.

  2. This looks pretty seamless too. Plus the pretties both look... pretty. Supergirl's costume has gone through a range of variations - but this one's new to me. Very fetching. (Maybe you could do a team of Supergirls with a parade of all the styles.)
(Yes, I know Shulkie has had her fashion phases too. But Kara started off with a riff on a style icon so maybe that's why her cossie is more noticeable.)
I can't place the Big Green Bad but I'm already a fan.

Nice cover. No manscaping needed. Right around the corner is it's brother The Rolling Hills.

You all know of Man of Steel, Woman of Tissue Paper? My question goes about Supergirl. If she's super dense and invulnerable, how could a regular guy have sex with her? let alone give her an organism or get her pregnant? She wouldn't be able to feel anything.

    1. I think Brainiac 5 had that sorted out during the Bronze Age run of the comics!

  4. They can't go off air too soon for me. The Flash in prison and Lena Luthor becoming a vindictive drunk permanently turned me off of both series!

  5. Re: today's cover. Is that supposed to be Spragg the Living Meteorite?

I thought She-Hulk didn't run into him till after she'd adopted her purple-and-white leotard look.

  6. I'm with you, Ross: I'm hoping Kara and Jeff are still around to help in future crossover events. I'd also like to see Anissa, Jennifer, and other BL heroes cross over as well. And I'm also hoping to see the 2040 heroes (particularly Black Siren) show up now and then, thanks to the Legends. For that matter, I wouldn't even mind an episode where we catch up with the Hawks!

  10. I still remember the wedding present from either the Justice League or Batman himself to Clark & Lois: red sun lightbulbs to put into the bedroom lamp. Subtle there, I bet it went over a lot of younger fan's heads what it used for.

  11. I'm not sure why it took until this morning, but HHH's mention of the House of Mystery, plus two local productions involving Sherlock Holmes, made me think of, well....

  13. The creature they’re fighting is Earth-Lord, who appeared in Savage She-Hulk 24 (and, AFAIK, never again in that identity).

  14. @Kevin: Thanks for the info. :-)

Further research into that character reveals he started out as Ralphie Hutchins; a petty enforcer for an L.A. mob boss known as "The Shade." But, after being subjected to a cloned modification of She-Hulk's blood, he gained the super power to become different superhuman mutations after every defeat at Shulkie's green hands!

In the end, Hutchins became a disembodied consciousness similar to Kronos The Titan (Founding Father of the Saturnian Eternals).
