I thoroughly enjoyed both Incredibles movies and would welcome another one. If there is another outing, It might be fun to age up the characters a bit to see where they are a few years down the road from the events of the first two installments. It's almost been seventeen years since the Parrs were introduced, there's no reason they can't grow older just a little bit.
Dash and Flash mash is smash hit no one can bash.
ReplyDeleteThat's easy to say, but what human interest story would the movie be covering along with the superhero stuff? And next time, Dash and Bart groaning all over the place.
ReplyDeleteI think age-acceleration of little kids is a super power found only among soap opera writers.

The second Incredibles movie took place right on the heels of the first. But yeah, I'd kind of like to see a couple of years pass off-screen for Incredibles 3. I could even stand to see a full-on TV series (maybe on Disney+, though I'd rather it was on Cartoon Network) where the kids age a year each season. It'd be especially interesting to see Jack-Jack grow up.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of animated team-ups, how about the 2003 animated series Teen Titans and the main\titular characters of the last 20 years' worth of superhero cartoons? Maybe one of the groups could be mind-controlled by Brother Blood.
ReplyDeleteFrom The Newshounds; Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon has have the chief character in the full Flash costume. Including the YELLOW boots. They looked great. Youtube time for research again.
ReplyDeletePossible Answer- the mad scientist fires off an age acceleration ray (was to have been used for growing crops and medical research). Dash zips in to save people but gets a light touch. How to save him could be movie #3.
Rad!!!
ReplyDeleteFor a third movie I'd like to see a time travel one where Mr. Incredible/Elastigirl/Frozone go back in time and we get to see the golden era of heroes with all of those heroes mentioned in movie and on 2nd disk.
ReplyDeleteLike "Back to the Future" I'd like to see one change made - Mr. Incredible convincing his past self to turn Buddy into a true buddy and head off creation of Syndrome.
I've never seen the answer -- what is Dash called in-universe? Do they actually call him "Dash" and his sister "Violet"? If so, that means no such thing as a secret identity. (The kajillionaire calls her "Violet" at the end of I2, but he's their backer, it's to be expected he knows their names.)
ReplyDeleteHorsefeathers wrote "And next time, Dash and Bart groaning all over the place." Add Calvin (with or without Hobbes) and I'm in!

How about Shrinking Violet (The Incredibles) and Shrinking Violet (Legion of Super-heroes).
ReplyDeleteLess than two weeks before Peacock TV debuts "Saved by the Bell" with its beautiful fake girl.
ReplyDeleteIf a certain thrice-married billionaire were the judge of this event, and he disputed the results, would Dash and the Flash their race have to rehash?

then shouldn't it be Saved by the Belle? XD
Fake Girl? Sounds like a superhero alias that might be used by the grandson of "Madame Fatal."
ReplyDeleteI do think seeing how being celebrities super heroes would effect the Pars instead of immediately going back to people not allowing super hero.
