Machine Man and Cyborg

Machine Man is at the top of my list of Marvel characters that I really want to see on the big screen.  I'd prefer him in his original version, as used on this cover, rather than the more human look he adopted in Nextwave.  Now that The Vision has been destroyed (we'll see if he truly returns in Wanda/Vision), Aaron Stack could take on the role of a robot discovering humanity.

  1. Funny how some of Marvel's characters are remembered so well by some writers. How would Machine Man regard the Frankenstein Monster? All human, but really alive? Would he try to find micro surgery to help it's brain?

  2. Considering the plot device used in "Avengers: Endgame," Marvel Films will probably revive him at some point during Phase V. Most likely as a side-effect of Kang's inevitable tampering with time.

  3. The prime place to introduce Machine Man would be The Eternals. It's the closest to a 2001-type environment in which X-51 first found himself created.

  4. Whoa! Amazing cover!
Now on the other side - I love Cyborg; however he has become so overexposed!!! He's everywhere EXCEPT where he OUGHT to be - Titans!

  5. It's awesome one again Ross, but we still need to see that MACHINE MAN-G.I.ROBOT team-up.

  6. @Ross: Too bad you couldn't team up Cyborg with Elektra's former jonin in The Chaste. You could've entitled it... "Stick and Stone."

  7. Is Cyborg better with computers than Batman? Or Mr Terrific? Batman seems to have lost some of his intellect over the last few years. Be nice to know if Vic could do more with computers than Bruce Wayne or the 3 rd smartest mind in the U.S..
