Metamorpho and Machine Man

I have always loved these offbeat heroes and their great visuals.  They are two that I never even considered for a live action treatment, but these days, who knows?  With Kirby characters like The Eternals coming to the theaters and DC taking chances with shows like Doom Patrol, anything seems possible.  Lets hope one or both makes the leap to movies or TV soon.

  1. This is a great team-up, Ross. I recall the Spidey Super Stories title that featured Machine Man and the Hulk with Spiderman. I think that might be the first time that I saw machine man. My first encounter with Metamorpho was in B&B. When I first saw his name, I thought it called him the elephant man rather than the element man. All of this are around 35-40 years ago.

I think that if the story line were to be written just right, an appearance by Metamorpho on Black Lightning might give rise to forming the Outsiders on TV.

  2. My money's on Element Man. He just cleaned the clockwork of a robotic counterpart in THE TERRIFICS!

  3. Has Machine Man (Marvel: 2001 A Space Odyssey, Explore Your Universe) met Adam Link (Warren Publishing: Creepy Magazine 1965-1967) yet? Speaking of Adam Link he definitely should meet Concrete (Dark Horse Comics).

  5. @Carycomic that has possibilities, however I do not like a either or scenario. Both should be done. Too many like tiny "little boxes" these days/in this day and age IMMWAOO.
