It looks like a solo Black Widow film is finally going to happen. Knowing Marvel, there will be other heroes that show up, and I am looking forward to hearing what other characters will fill out the cast. Could this possibly be a chance to unite Marvel's cinematic world with its Netflix shows, and bring in Daredevil for a scene or two? I'm sure that's a long shot but one can always hope. I loved their comics together and would love to see their partnership represented on the big screen.

Given where DD seems to be going in season 3, it seems very unlikely he would cross paths with Natasha. If any TV character (except Coulson) shows up, I would expect it to be Agent May. There's already a ton of fanfic about May vs. Widow battles, and a plot, sub-plot, or flashback of Natasha's sharing missions with Coulson and May back in the pre-Iron Man days is almost a requirement.

How a Daredevil cameo in the Black Widow movie would play out would depend on how Daredevil Season 3 ends.
ReplyDeleteSince Coulson is apparently a part of Captain Marvel, though, it's not out of the question that he'd appear in Black Widow, nor would Nick Fury be terribly surprising. Agent May would be a fun one, too.

I saw a comment regarding the Ant-Man and Wasp being only regular team up (I guess reviewer did not read comics with Hank's abuse of wife, separation, etc) but evidently did not know about Daredevil and Black Widow or Cloak and Dagger or Hawk and Dove for that matter. Sounds like a potential cover if you could find images partners vs partners.
