People like to talk about Batman being a hero with a damaged psyche, but Bruce Wayne has nothing on these two. Their multiple personality disorders set their adventures apart from most other characters. It's interesting to read about their inner struggles and watching their heroic sides come out when they are most needed.
i still hope we see a live action rose/thorn on either supergirl flash or legends of tomorrow or perhaps black lightning
ReplyDeleteNeed to add Moon Knight into this mix!
ReplyDeleteBoth of these heroes have shared covers with MK on the blog before, at least...
ReplyDeleteThis is a very interesting match-up.
ReplyDeleteAll too true, Ross. One of my favorite FOREVER KNIGHT episodes was about a serial killer with MPD. One of his other alter-egos got vampirized...and he never even knew it!
ReplyDeleteDespite your note that both Badger and Rose/Thorn have appeared on this blog with Moon Knight,I agree with David that the three of them would be lots of fun together. If you can find any others with Dissociative Identity Disorder (the current clinical term for multiple personalities), then they could form the Legion of Legions!
ReplyDelete...and David from the FX series Legion could also join the Legion of Legions...
ReplyDeleteI agree a trio would be good especially with personality cubed situation.
ReplyDeleteRose and the Thorn would be good with Red Sonja; I know Spiderman and Rose and Thorn have interacted before but if you found the right pictures you could duplicate what they did with the MJ Watson/Red Sonja using the Thorn.
Add in Crazy Jane from the Doom Patrol.
ReplyDelete...one could also include Splitzy/Dr. Splitz from Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys...
ReplyDeleteInteresting suggestions for what Bob Greenwade called the "Legion of Legions" above. I'd add the Hulk, especially during the Peter David run!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see The Badger team up with Malibu Comics' hero The Ferret, and Wolverine.
ReplyDelete@David Wendt: Great minds, was thinking the same thing.
ReplyDeleteSeriously Badger does NOT get enough love anymore, especially with his unique background/origin and cast of characters. He's a Netflix series waiting to happen, as is Moon Knight as well, honestly.
The last I've seen of Badger recently was in the 2016 FCBD Indie Mix comic, where he was fighting Putin.
You could have a cover with War Machine, USAgent, Thunderstrike, Venom, The Eradicator, Azrael Batman, Artemis Wonder Woman, and Guy Gardner and call the team The Dopelgang.
ReplyDelete...check Dec 3, 2015 on this blog for Ross's version of The Doppel Gang led by Mirror universe Spock...
ReplyDelete...one of my personel favorites...
Mike Shirley, and add Timber Wolf from the LSH into the mix!
ReplyDeleteRose and the Thorn teaming up with the Badger?! Uh-oh! Looks like the 100 are trying to infiltrate the Upper Midwest.
