Batman has probably had the best video games made about him, but there's something I always love about playing as Spider-Man in a game. His power seem very well suited for the experience. I even loved the old school games, going back to the first Atari
Spider-Man, where he was just a few red and blue blocks climbing a wall or swinging side to side. Great stuff!
Spidey crossed paths with the first Hawk and Dove team in
STF #1379...
Have Hawk & Dove crossed paths with Cloak & Dagger yet?
ReplyDeleteSimreeve, they've done it twice. https://braveandboldlost.blogspot.com/search/label/Hawk%20and%20Dove
ReplyDeleteOkay, thank you. It did seem like an obvious combination but I didn't have time to check for myself earlier.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see a team of "Ditko Defenders" consisting of Spider-Man, the Creeper, Captain Atom, Mr. A, Blue Beetle, Dr. Strange, etc. etc.
ReplyDeleteI would have loved to see Spidey team up with Killjoy! He was a Ditko creation who appeared in two back-up stories done for the original Charlton version of E-Man back in the Seventies. Mui mysterioso! As he never spoke during his crime-fights. Just went around punching out the Bad Guys with nothing more than a red hoodie unitard and the Greek mask of comedy to hide his face.

I remember him! That series of E-man was among the single boxful of comics that I chose to keep when I sold off most of my old collection around the turn of the century. (I've started a new collection much more recently...)
google image "Ditko League of America". It's been done.
