Hela is one Marvel Villain that I would love to see make a return to the big screen. Cate Blanchett's performance and the visual depiction of the character in Thor: Ragnarok were spot on, and I'd love to hee her intereact with some of the other heroes of the MCU.
Well, Thanos making a comeback as a result of an alliance with her might explain the easter egg at the end of "Spider-Man: Brand New Day." As for this cover? I like to imagine it as a tie-in between two sadly incomplete (and increasingly likely to stay that way) limited series. "War Of The Independents" from Red Anvil Comics; and "Crossover" from Image Comics.

Had Marvel stuck with the Kang plan, we might have been able to see White Hela (from "What If... Hela Found the Ten Rings?") in Avengers: the Kang Dynasty. In fact, if suitable images can be found (doubtful), she might be fun to use here in a fight against Ultraman or Superwoman (both of the Crime Syndicate of America).

DeleteBtw: I went to see BND, again. If Leah Phillips (as "Dancer") was the blonde in the leopard-print blazer, at MJ and Ned's apartment-house warming, she didn't do much dancing.
ReplyDelete@Anon529: you must've gotten that off IMDB. She was uncredited in the cast listing. But, you could be half-right. It didn't look like anybody was dancing at Ned and MJ's party! Probably not enough room (she did mention about fifty people being present).
DeleteOn the other hand, Taryn Marie Butler was canonically listed as "Apartment Girl" (the one with not-so-friendly terrier). Makes me wonder if she's supposed to be Gwen Stacy and her boyfriend (also from the elevator) Randy Robertson. Future acquaintances whom Peter might meet through employment at the Daily Bugle (in the next sequel).
You might as well ask if "Web-shooting Kid" will grow up to become non-CGI Miles Morales.
