Ms. Marvel and Plastic Man

I thought it would be fun to have the original stretching hero cross paths with one of the newer kids on the block.  It might be interesting to see Plas in a mentor role.  He's been given a son in the comics, but that's still a side of him that we haven't seen enough of.

  1. Excellent! I'm first, for once. And, this morning's cover has already given me an idea for a sequel. Kamala Khan becoming Plas' Offspring-in-law!

  2. I think these two are both members of the Expansion Team, aren't they? (Or is Plas just an "honorary" member, overshadowed by Ralph?) It would make this a very logical pairing, as a part of the team's ongoing story.

Of the stretching heroes in comics, I think Plas is the most versatile, able to mimic various objects, while Kamala has the extra ability of enlarging her fists and other parts. Many of his abilities would be beyond her, but she might be able to team him a thing or two!

  3. Neither are on the Expansion Team - That's Mr. Fantastic, Mr. Gum, Elongated Man and Elastigirl

    1. Maybe the Expansion team needs .... an Expansion.

    2. OK, my memory was completely off (even more than usual). I guess these are about the only two major stretchers not on that team.

  5. Have you been reading Plastic Man No More? His role as a father is being revisited there!

  6. Sometimes she is drawn so she seems a bit older and Eel needs to be careful where he stretches or she will respond as if it was sexual harassment.

  7. A situation from THE SCHOOL OF HARD KNOCKS! don't let Lucy and Charlie Brown see this. It'll give her ideas!

  8. "Kamala Khan! Kamala Khan!
Kamala Khan, let me stretch. Let me stretch with you.
Come on, Kamala Khan! That's all I wanna do."

    1. Only if it's a winter carnival with slides like the one X-man Robert Drake used to cryokinetically form: Bob-slides!
