Swamp Thing and The Beast

This cover required quite a bit of tinkering before I could add in Hank McCoy.  Text and a character had to be removed and the backgrounds replaced on those spots.  Then I had to move the foreground bad guys back a bit, which required some more rebuilding;  Here is a look at the behind the scenes progress:

  1. So, that's why Hank McCoy was absent from STF #4316! Thanks for finally explaining that, Ross. :-)

  2. Hank looks pretty upset, too. I wonder if maybe these guys hurt someone he cares about.

  3. Pirate operation!! They're working with Kraven and his partners? Sorry, no sympathy for them here.
The Phantom has met Swamp Thing once. This would be a great place to renue their teamwork. Would Swamp Thing have joined Warriors of Wakanda also??
Always enjoyable to see Mr McCoy...he is, with no doubt, a true Blue hero!!

  4. And Ross, nice to know you have a builder's permit..for all the reconstruction you have to do.

  5. @Tobor: but, what if Pietro Maximoff's sister got hold of the Hyborian-era Scarlet Sword (current receptacle for the spirit of Thun'da Snow-Mane)? Would Ross have to tweak her as the Scarlet Witchblade...or Wanda Snow-Mane?

  6. @Det. Tobor: were you hinting that Kraven might've been hired by the Singh Brotherhood? Interesting premise!

  7. @Carycomic: it would be a split win for the Singh....they get rid of this Phantom or the Hunter who has been bothering them. And if he does get rid of Mr Walker, his next target would be "The Beast"! ironic choices??

  8. Which Beast, though? Hank McCoy or the mysterious entity worshiped by the ninja cultists of the Hand? ---Cary

  9. It would be the Real McCoy of course.

  10. Kelsey Grammer's version would be the Reel McCoy.
