I had been meaning to use Brother Power The Geek again, but I wanted to come up with a suitable co-star. Who better to join the flower child hippie than a soldier wearing a suit designed for battle? There would definitely be enough interpersonal dynamics to move the story along!
And so they are going to help Harvey tame the Hulk!! Yaaaaaa!!!!
ReplyDeleteA couple of suggestions for future covers for you.
ReplyDeleteGLA/JLA (Great Lakes Avengers/Justice League)
Dial H for Heroes for Hire
@Anon841: throw in Iron Man meeting his Golden Age namesake (aka Bozo) and the latter's human sidekick Hugh Hazard, and I'll second the motion.
ReplyDeleteAs long as we're doing suggestions; how about Deathlok vs Lex Luthor in a tale we HAD to call...
ReplyDelete"WHEN LUTHER MET LUTHOR!"
How about golden age Flash villain Rag Doll and Raggedy Ann and Andy?
ReplyDeleteYeah, the contrast between these two would be interesting. Fortunately, I think Rhodey would have enough respect for the de-escalation approach to make the proposal you show here, though.
ReplyDeleteAnd since oddball suggestions are the order of the day, let me revive one of mine: Negasonic Teenage Warhead vs. the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight (with the names alone taking up a least half the cover).
How about Superboy and the Ravers with... eh, I don't even care with whom, I'd be happy enough seeing an appearance from Kon-El, Sparx, Hero Cruz, Aura, Kaliber, and Half-Life!
ReplyDeleteI'd settle for Superboy and the Ravers vs. the Midnight Sons (including EMBWBM).
ReplyDeleteBrother Power would make an interesting companion for Brother Voodoo, especially as Brothers in Arms against Brother Blood and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants.
ReplyDelete(whispered) The War Geek is impressed with how well you did this there. Not easy.
ReplyDeleteWould you consider teaming Underdog and Courageous Cat as The World's Furrious? (with Mighty Mouse?)
Add Thunderbunny and you've got the Fantastic Furs!
ReplyDelete@Horsefeathers & Cary: The World's Finest Animals are Captain Carrot and Darkwing Duck.
ReplyDelete'Nuff said.
@Bob Greenwade: do they get paid in Krypto-currency?
ReplyDelete@Bob Greenwade: can I borrow one of your day-old cookies and hit Anon825 upside his virtual head?
ReplyDeleteThey don't get paid in Krypto-currency, but they do make a lot of cabbage.
ReplyDeleteLettuce hope so! ;-D
