Mole Man was the first Fantastic Four villain, but will that be reflected in the movies? He may not be as imposing as some of the other FF villains, but between The Moloids and giant subterranean creatures that he commands, I can imagine some pretty cool action sequences that could happen. How cool would it be to see a live action depiction of the cover to Fantastic Four #1?
The Mole Man definitely seems like he'd fit right in with Ted's 1960s roster of enemies at Charlton.
ReplyDeleteWith CGI, they could probably do a scene just as easily as the original cover was done. Lot more expensive, but not that hard anymore.
ReplyDeleteThe Kord Cavern?? Is that near Bruce's Bunker? Just northwest of the Beetle's Bungalow? Only minutes from the Arrow Cave. The map of the super heroes' homes and lairs is gonna look like a dilly now.
I like the STF notion of the Kord Cavern. Maybe that's something you could run with.
ReplyDeleteI'd be fun to see Booster Gold get introduce to it sometime.
Right now, so much has been either in flux with or kept secret about the new Fantastic Four film that the only think known about it is that it'll be out just before Avengers 5.
ReplyDeleteThat said, in my Fantastic Four fanscript, I do exactly what you describe.
Two Blue Beetle covers in one week?! You honor us beyond the call of common courtesy. :-)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait till they find Gold in that cavern. Cave Carson must have been proud when he put out his Realtor sign then got Ted as a client.
ReplyDeleteA bit off-topic. Did you know that the correct Japanese term for "big eagle" is "okina washi"? Someone should tell Yamaha that "inu-washi" literally translates as "dog-eagle"!
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should ride one of their buses to corporate HQ.
Getting back on topic. Has Blue Beetle ever met Goldbug (aka Bubmblebee) of the Transformers?
ReplyDeleteBlue Beetle and Bumblebee would be a great opportunity for alliteration.
ReplyDeletecan you put a cover on foil? I know it might be hard but you do fantastic imagery and worth the difference for a celebration issue.
