I think that these two buccaneer booted battlers would work well together. They are both considered to be the heart of soul of their respective teams and are each adept field commanders. One is a man out of time and the other is a man torn from his world so they could bond in that way as well.

Since Diana is often like a sister to J'onn, Steve should feel very comfortable in pairing with this telepath. It would be interesting to see how they develop as a team since they would be unlike most of Cap's partners. Fun cover.

ReplyDelete@Carycomic, Jack-El, & Anon603: If memory serves, the Pulverizer faced by Rusty and Big Guy was a four-armed dinosaur controlled by some prehistoric hive-mind that had previously gone dormant at the end of the Cretaceous Period.
ReplyDeleteMartian Manhunter phases thru the foot as Cap jumps up and uses the shield to get the creature's discomfort. Manhunter gives a punch on the back of the knee and the big foot has been brought to heel.
