The Milestone characters have weaved in and out of the DCU, but I don't think that I have ever seen these two share a story together. I think they would get along pretty well. There was a lot of talk of a Static Shock movie a while back, hopefully it is still in development. Maybe producers are getting cold feet after the recent run of disappointing box office returns for superhero movies?
Who can say for sure, Ross, pro or con? All I know, for certain, is that I look forward to the day you have a Milestone character team up here with a Malibu Ultraverse character!
ReplyDeleteIt feels weird seeing you use two DC characters like this, but your reasoning checks out, so it's not a criticism. In that same vein, does anyone know of Icon has ever met (the original) Captain Marvel, in something officially published? If not, that could be another one since here, but then again, I'd rather see Icon vs. Homelander, as I suggested once before.
ReplyDeleteMaybe, studios have gotten too lazy and are getting a message from the audiences.
ReplyDeleteDevelop and write better. Flash was half great, loved Mike as Batman, George..not so much. "Brand new Nick Cage as Superman for a few moments was nice..a movie of that....NO thanks.
Firestorm keeps getting new partners. Maybe the Warners need a turn at Bat.
An accident happens and now making up Firestorm is...Static and Batgirl-Barbara.
Let's see how the audience reacts to that team-up!
Call me cynical, but I'm sure there'd be an initial firestorm of protest.*
ReplyDelete*Pun semi-intentional.
I cannot believe this hasn't gotten more than five responses.
