Star Trek: The Next Generation Vs. Galactus

Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the crew of the Enterprise have successfuly dealt with a lot of powerful entities through diplomacy and strategy.  Still, I think that Galactus would give them a run for their money.  It would be fun to see what negotiations between them and the World Devourer would look like - especially when those talks break down.

Data might figure a way to give him a self sustaining energy source that might keep him just barely satisfied and keeping him grounded(?).
This is a cover well worth the administration price!!

  2. Galactus vs. Q??? In the ear-splitting words of Kamala Khan (from the brand-new trailer for "Marvels"): "OMG! OMG! OMG!"

  3. I'm not so sure the talks would break down in this case. Picard had this interesting way of "defeating" his foes by giving them what they want, and with Galactus that would probably entail something like what Tobor proposed.

On another track, I'd love to see Sean Connery getting his gadgetry from a smug-looking John de Lancie.

  4. I'd love to see Picard as binding arbitrator between the studios, the writers, and the actors during this latest Hollywood strike.

  5. P.S.---Wow! Less than two weeks to STF #4125. I can't wait to see what you have in store, Ross. :-)

  6. Speaking as a long time Trekkie, Ross, this was an awesome idea AND an awesome cover! Nice work!

  7. Awesome start to the week Ross! Galactus has tried to kick the planet binging diet before, with horrendous results. Galactus likes being Galactus, and he sees it as his job to "weed out" the cosmos. So this confrontation looks like some personal vendetta between Big G and Q. Who knows, the Q Continuum might be new a delicacy for the devourer of worlds to savor. "Who" knows? (wink wink!)

  8. English translation: Ken thinks this is a sequel to STF #4010 AND would, therefore, probably like to see it turned into a trilogy.

  9. Awesome is the trending word here and I completely agree. Just love the Enterprise almost in Galactus's hand.

I'd like to see what happens with Q appears.

  10. He'll probably take the form of an Excelsior-class starship: NCC-1701-Q!

  11. @Anon1040: more likely Prometheus-class, I'd say.

  13. Makes you wonder what the Q Continuum did to incur Galactus' wrath...
