Power Man and Ambush Bug

After pestering so many heroes in the DC Universe, it looks like Irwin Schwab is seeking out other opportunities.  But will the Heroes for Hire be able to put up with his particular brand of "help"?  I don't know, but it might be fun to see play out.

  1. i always throughly enjoyed any appearance of The Ambush Bug…
i pity poor Luke if he either doesn’t or does employ him. we know that chaos always happens / follows Mr swarb

  2. ok, Ambush bug and Mighty Mouse would compliment each other nicely.

Luke might refer him to She-Hulk to which A.B.could say he was there already.

  3. So, if Ambush Bug is busy being interviewed by LC, does that mean Deadpool is free to reunite with Harley Quinn? I means, let's face it; the flip side of the Rossverse's favorite Power Couple hasn't been together since STF #1288. And that's going on 8 years ago!

  4. As Simon pointed out, where Ambush Bug goes, chaos is sure to happen. That always makes for a fun story, and seeing him in any situation is sure to entertain. He is, after all, the only person ever to be kicked out of Arkham Asylum.

Correction: Buggy is the situation! He's a walking, talking situation that other heroes find themselves in. Only the Punisher has managed to turn that around. And while Superman is his usual "special friend," he does seem to work best with grim, no-nonsense characters like Bruce Wayne, Frank Castle... or maybe Marc Spector. Maybe you could even team him up with the War Doctor.

Of course, that doesn't mean that we wouldn't all welcome more of his rivalry with Deadpool, which we saw in #285; that's a relationship that really needs to go somewhere. (I felt sure that there was a second occasion for that, but I can't find any right now.) And I agree with Cary about the HarleyPool pairing; those two are perfect for each other.

On another topic, I'd like to see the Skip Tracers pursue their most elusive quarry yet: Carmen Sandiego!

  5. I'd rather see her take on Lupin III.

  6. @Anon215: me, too! If only to see if she was immune to all his "charms."
