DC comics seems to be going through yet another reboot phase with their new Dawn of DC titles. Tom Taylor and Nicola Scott will be bringing readers an all new Titans series and the line up will be the one we see above (plus Starfire), meaning that the classic New Teen Titans team will be back together. I hope that this is a sign of what we can expect to see on the big screen if a Titans film for the DCU gets greenlighted.
I worry about Cyborg in this outing. Its not unheard of for an outside influence to take control of his cybernetics. And knowing Ultron that's exactly what he'd try. Possibly planning to try to purge the humanity from the technology.
ReplyDelete@Ross: I'm afraid I'll believe that only when I shell out seven bucks to see it. :-|
ReplyDelete@MWC: Heaven knows, skeletal Brainiac attempted the same thing on one of the later seasons of SUPER FRIENDS. And almost successfully!
You don't mess with success, except that DC's greatest success comes in messing with success.
ReplyDeleteDC Comics: Rebooting the multiverse since 1985.
@Bob G 🌍🌎🎇🌎🌏!!
ReplyDeleteHas Ultron or even Brainiac been able to learn the controls for magic? Maybe Raven can help insulate Vic with magic.
The Luthor of near-Perfect Earth (during Convergence) once gained control over Zatanna-style magic by hacking into his world's Amazo. So the Ultron and/or Brainiac of Earth-STF could conceivably manage the same thing by the same means.
ReplyDeleteUl-Tron?
ReplyDeleteThat I'm aware of, the only magic-using robot in any series or franchise is Ork-O, from the Netflix He-Man series. I'd love to learn of more... and if there's enough, maybe Ross can make a team of them!
ReplyDeleteRobby the Robot seems magical. Debuting in an altverse 2200 AD, he reappeared in the late 20th century as the sidekick to an invisible kid. Only to reappear in outer space; first as a hostile "robotoid," and then a cryostasis prison guard! All before finally dying of metal fatigue on an episode of MORK & MINDY.
ReplyDeleteIf Ork-O is the only one, then maybe some time we can get a cover with him captured by Doctor Doom! (Robo-Force to the Rescue!)
ReplyDeleteOrk-0 vs. Magnus the Robot Fighter; who would win?
ReplyDelete@Carycomic: fans of this website, I would imagine. ;-)
