She may have been defeated in Doctor Strange: In the Multiverse of Madness, but we never did see a body so many have suspected that The Scarlet Witch's onscreen adventures are not quite over. There's been some speculation that she would at least cameo in the Agatha: House of Harkness Disney+ series, and now she is expected to be a part of the recently announced Vision Quest series. Will she remain a villain or be redeemed? Is that even possible at this point?
Hmmmm! She was wearing that same lascivious smile on the cover of STF #3496 exactly one year and two days ago! Could she placing Deadman under her power as part of a master plan aimed at getting Dick Grayson to be the mind-controlled father of her children? What are your thoughts, Mr. Greenwade? Detective Tobor?

Wanda was considered redeemed at the end of DSMMM -- she destroyed all copies of the Darkhold -- so I believe that when we see her next she'll be continuing on her path to redemption. And, with any luck, we also haven't seen the last of "the J-Twins" (Julian Hilliard and Jett Klyne).
ReplyDelete@Cary: It's possible, considering that Dick and Boston have a connection through the Roustabouts. We may even see such a story continuing the next time we see that group together.
@Bob and Cary: I third that motion! :-)
ReplyDeleteHate to be a party poop but....Brand is being splintered and the title says Spiritual Awakening...so... 2 Most likely possibilities....
ReplyDelete*) rearange Boston's mind and psyche so a different kind of Boston take's over
[[ be funny if she is applying a different Earth's version from the multiverse to have chosen from]]
*) putting a different 'driver' in charge of Boston's form. Sort of like Jim Corrigan being in charge of the Spectre. Could she be altering and powering up a bit to a new style Deadman?
A 3rd likely possibility: she's going to channel the psionic essences of Boston Brand and his twin brother Cleveland into clones of Dick Grayson that have been allowed to age in real time! As in; not subjected to hyper-accelerated growth so that they physically become adults in a matter of days after their asexual "birth".
ReplyDeleteMind-controlling the "twins" into thinking their true names are Thomas and Henry.
In other words, she's "reawakening" her formerly imaginary boys.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous: Whoa-whoa-whoa! Tom and Harry...and their father is Dick???
ReplyDeleteWhere's a thumbs-down emoji when you need one?
Re there being a xonnection between Dixk and Boston through the Roustabouts _ In the world of 'Flashpoint' Boston was actually perrforming in the same circus as the Flying Graysons.
ReplyDeleteThat about says it all; The Brand of this circus is Gray's Son.
ReplyDeleteFamily court is hereby adjourned.
