The Atom and Transformers

Continuing our Two-Part Epic, we see just where Megatron has been hiding out. There were some rumblings about The Atom getting his own movie, with Ryan Choi and Ray Palmer - but that was well before Discovery took over Warner Bros. and started axing projects left and right, so I am going to assume that whatever was planned has gone away.  I am guessing that we'll just have to wait a few months for the dust to settle before we start getting a true idea of what the future of DC's cinematic universe will look like, and if B-listers like The Atom will get a chance to shine.

  1. Heh! I certainly didn't foresee this development.

A truly brilliant twist, Ross! Although, I'm almost stumped as to how Megatron could have learned about the Microverse. From Psycho Man, perhaps? The guy does use Dave-style androids to get around in.*

*For those who had the mixed blessing of seeing--and never being able to forget--that Eddie Murphy sleeper.

  2. How did Optimus Prime learn where Megatron went? And how did Ray find the area M. Was in?

    SPOILERS....
I just saw Teen Titans cartoon celebrate Wonder Woman's 80th anniversary. At the end, the DC building took on it's MEGA competitor's building that had a shield, iron gloves, a web, and other things like a fire field around it. Speechless or not sure what to say.

  4. Ray Palmer is always being overlooked.

  5. We were all wrong! Nobody guessed Ray yesterday, and yet it makes better sense than this moment suggests: even in the Microverse (I believe), he can shrink down and play with Megatron's innards.

And I agree: WB will have to wait for the dust to settle from the Discovery buyout, to say nothing of the clusterstorms* of Ezra Miller and She Who Must Not Be Named, before we start to find out about the future of the DCEU.

*Mashing up two terms that otherwise would include words that I wouldn't want to write even if it were allowed.

  6. Well, I'll certainly keep my ear to the ground for you, Bob. But, thus far, I haven't "Heard" a thing.
