Ever since it was announced, I've been dying to see Michael Keaton's return as Batman in The Flash. Unfortunately the continuing delays are pushing that film back further and further. I hope they can figure some way to salvage the film either by recasting or re-editing it, but with it practically completed already, that's going to be tricky to do. He's supposed to have a small part in Batgirl as well, but who knows when that will come out either? If all of this mess eventually leads to Keaton in a proper Batman Beyond movie, maybe it will all be worth it.
Blade and Batman shared a comic book adventure on one of my very first covers, and MS Paint effort from way back in 2010...
Zipping thru the Timestream. Today's cover in yesterday's responses. I say, There's a "Kang" in the process. I could see this pair doing a Radio Shack open on a Carnival Cruise ship while searching for the group's head bad guys. Blade just needs a bit more Booster Gold type moments.
ReplyDeleteTwo favorites of mine.Another great one Ross!
ReplyDeleteYES!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ross. Granting my request in so prompt a fashion has really made my weekend. :-D
P.S.---yes, it's true. I was the Anonymous Request-maker, yesterday.*
ReplyDelete*Insert self-effacing "duh!" here.
I actually made this months ago, you guys just amazingly guessed the next day's scheduled cover.
ReplyDeleteYep. "Interesting," indeed.
ReplyDeleteThe next time we see Mr. Keaton here, though, I'd really like for it to be with Mr. Maguire.
(Though I'm still pining for a Benoist/Larson cover, to say nothing of the admittedly unlikely pairing of Reb Brown and Cathy Lee Crosby.)
As far as the newer incarnation of Blade, I understand that he'll be showing his face in an upcoming project before his solo film, though I'm not sure which one.
@Bob Greenwade: As in, Jack Larson? The original Jimmy Olsen from George Reeves' Superman show? Signed----the real Anonymous.
ReplyDeleteI think he meant Bree, not Jack. But that's an amusing idea, too: Jimmy Olsen and Captain Marvel.
ReplyDelete*Brie
DeleteThat would be two counts of Larsony.
DeleteWhereas I always considered "Brie" a cheesy name. ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, Brie Larson -- for a Danvers Twins "movie."
ReplyDeleteOr, at the very least, smashing the spaceship from planet Mongo that dared fire an annihilation beam at the Earth.
ReplyDeleteTentative title: "Taking A Swing At Ming!"
@ Carycomic: I like it! It has a nice ring.
ReplyDeleteTesting, testing, 123.
ReplyDeleteHuzzah! The control freaks are satisfied that I'm still me!
