Presenting Part Two of our latest Two-Part Epic! Did you guess correctly? Daredevil was the only one not affected by the visuals of Doctor Light's attack on yesterday's cover (except maybe by almost being crushed by the falling bodies of his fellow heroes), let's see if the villain can adjust for this miscalculation in his plans...
The hero with the Double D's it is then. Guessed by many, where was he on yesterday's cover? And Cap throws his shield to DD to give him some protection. yea team.
ReplyDeleteFunny, I guessed Cloak. He's on the cover, and his ability to absorb light puts him at an advantage over the Luminous Loser, here...
ReplyDeleteDD is by Thor, Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman on yesterday's cover. Cloak was incapacitated like the rest of the sighted heroes, but you can see him battling Dr. Light on an earlier STF cover.
ReplyDeleteDid Doctor Light tap the help of Sonar?
ReplyDeleteNo, I didn't guess. You blindsided me, Ross. But now at last the light has dawned. (Although for the Doc, presumably it has dusked?)
ReplyDeleteHe must've been in Matt Murdock mode, yesterday. Because I definitely didn't see him in costume!
ReplyDeleteYou meant Jonh Cena.
DeleteI hunted at least a half-dozen times for Daredevil yesterday, and didn't see him. It wasn't until you (Ross) said where to look that I finally located him, tucked in profile between Reed's right arm and Thor's left leg. He was harder to find than Waldo....
ReplyDeleteMentioning Waldo brings to mind another hard-to-locate character, Carmen Sandiego. Maybe Batman and Dick Tracy could team up to locate her some time. Or your Moon Knight/Elongated Man pair could.
Now I want a computer game crossover cover... Chief Examiner from Questprobe seeking Carmen Sandiego
DeleteHoo-boy! UHF soundwaves are Hornhead's kryptonite.
ReplyDeleteRIP, DD!
@Isaac: What about John Cena?
ReplyDeleteYou just can't see him.
DeleteI don't see Daredevil on the part 1 cover. The only one I see not being effected is Captain America.
ReplyDelete@Wild Card: He's roughly bottom center, in profile, tucked between Reed Richards' right arm and Thor's left leg.
ReplyDeleteI’m reminded of an old issue of What If where Electro figures out that DD is blind and sells him out.
ReplyDeleteHow can blindness protect against lasers?
ReplyDeleteCan we get a "radar sense" for the man with the red suit?
ReplyDeleteDid Dr Light ever work with the Mirror Master?
Or, as Bugs said to Arthur: "Eh, Watts up Doc?"
ReplyDeleteI remember a villain that DD fought that had a gun that could knock you out by blinding you. Naturally it had no effect on the Man Without Fear.
ReplyDelete@Bob Greenwade: he'll probably go the same route as Jesse Ventura. Pro wrestler-to-actor-to politician. Or, as Jay Leno might nasally put it:
ReplyDelete"Three different names for the same thing!"
The Ministry of Sound.
