Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness is set to begin filming soon, and we have not heard anything about casting for Brother Voodoo or Clea. I had heard that both would be introduced in the film, but then came the addition of The Scarlet Witch and the whole multiverse angle - not to mention the continuation of Baron Mordo's plot line. Hopefully there will be room to include everything without the movie getting too cluttered.
The Creeper looks like he's really having a bad day. I felt just the same when I got up this morning.
ReplyDeleteTwo of my favorite characters in a great looking cover. Well put together. And "De-Creeping"? Outstanding.
ReplyDeleteSince Jack wasn't made the Creeper thru magic, can Brother V cure cancer or even the common cold?
ReplyDeleteStrange is already established in the Avengers' N.Y. Cameos from there could also include being on tv.
From color contrast to balance, this is probably one of the best covers you've done to date. I love the Bronze look to some of the others, but this works on all levels. Superb.
ReplyDeleteIs this supposed to be the Creeper who got supernaturalized before DC REBIRTH?
ReplyDeleteWith Sam Raimi directing, I think that the elements you mention look like just about the right density. There's also a rumor that Loki* will be a part of the film, though I suspect that if he does it'll be in a post-credits scene (but even if I'm wrong, I don't think it'll be a problem for Sam).
ReplyDeleteAlso, I have to agree with the 8:39 Anonymous above. Every aspect of this cover is spot-on; it looks like a unit piece.
*The alternate version who escaped with the Tesseract in Avengers: Endgame and will be featured in the Loki Disney+ series.
I still want to see a live action Creeper. I know it would be hard with his cheesy costume, but still...........
ReplyDeleteno biggie. body stocking with alterations would do most the job. Camera angles should take care of most of the rest. And someday they might even invest in home made C.G.I.
ReplyDeleteLook! It's Bill the Cat!!!
ReplyDelete@Carycomic: unfortunately, yeah. The original Silver Age Creeper was undeniably the best!
ReplyDelete@my namesake from 3:38 this afternoon:
ReplyDeleteLooks more like one of the prototype Sallis Formula rejects from Daredevil's first team-up with the Macabre Man-Thing.
Looks like Jack was infected with Joker toxin. If Brother Voodoo can fix his booboo, could he also cure the Batman Who Laughs of his own Joker " possession"?
ReplyDeleteOr will the Dark Knight become a "Badman Beyond," instead?
ReplyDeleteTune into tomorrow. Same Bat-time. Same Bat-channel.
ReplyDeleteSorry! I couldn't resist that bit of William Self-indulgence.
;-D
@Horsefeathers: If the PTB don't want to do Creeper through makeup, they can always use a mocap suit.
ReplyDeleteMore likely, the real PTB (of Sunnydale fame) don't want "The Creeper" done at all! Hence, the current world crisis.---Signed Connor Spiracy
