Well, since Ambush Bug's last venture into the Marvel Universe didn't go quite as planned, it looks like he decided to make a return appearance - with a vengeance! One can only wonder what he would do with the power of the Infinity Gauntlet...
Thank you to Bob Greenwade, a Patron of this Blog, for suggesting this idea!
IT's RAID!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't see the FF there. Maybe they have escaped his influence, and save the day?
ReplyDeletethe Ff is there. Sue is right above the 'H' in Ambush.
ReplyDeleteRoss, what if The Glove vs the Cosmic Cube?
interesting design Ross. Suppose the gems did a House of M story and neutralized all the superpowers and magic and mutations and things like super soldier serums?? Just regular humans on land. No Hela or any of the Gods or aliens on Earth. Everyone has been totally and forever neutralized.
ReplyDeleteRoss is right. Thank you, Bob!*
ReplyDelete*Wait! Why do I suddenly feel like I should be talking to a Playboy Bunny-in-Red?

Huh. When I looked before, she must have been using her power of invisibility...
Bwa-hah-ha!
ReplyDeleteActually, I'd been hoping for "Ruins the Marvel Universe," but this is close enough. What fun! I have no doubt that, were this a real comic, it'd fly off the shelves like nobody's business! (Though I'm sure it'd be hard for potential buyers to catch flying comic books.)
@Cary: Dumb Bunny???
Hm... I'm trying to think of some power-stealer in the Marvel Universe (Rogue does come to mind, but isn't quite a fit for what follows) who could be put on a cover with the Inferior Five, and wind up getting the strength of Merryman, the speed of the Blimp, the intelligence of Dumb Bunny, the agility of Awkwardman, and the courage of White Feather. (Maybe some Captain Marvel [DC] wannabe who shouts "DWAMB!"?)
@Bob Greenwade: The Super-Adaptoid?
ReplyDelete@Other Bob: That might do.

Right between Thor and USA Agent is Sue. Under Super in Super Team Family.

ReplyDelete@Bob Greenwade: Close! But, no. I was referencing ANIMAL HOUSE. A bizarre-but-much-loved cult classic.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, how about this (in answer to your other question)?
"Introducing...BIZARRO DUPLICATE BOY!"
he gives his powers to others
ReplyDeleteEh, Forbush Man can take him.
ReplyDelete@ Alaric Eh, Forbush Man is a Four Flusher!
ReplyDelete@Anon645: even better! Can you imagine the chaos if each member of the I-5 had the sum total of their collective abilities?
ReplyDeletePerfect! That way, they'd have to change their name to the I-25. With AAA road maps as their version of kryptonite.
ReplyDelete@Anon@8:58: They can already do that as the I-5. If they move to Los Angeles, then the Blimp could even claim that he can go faster than freeway traffic (at least, during rush hour).
ReplyDeletePlus, provide aerial TV shots of college football fames sponsored by Goodrich.
ReplyDeleteYou see, Goodyear already has a blimp and...
Insert *GROAAAAN!* here.
ReplyDeleteCover of the month!
ReplyDeleteThe Amber Butane Man Irwin Schwab!
ReplyDeleteAmber Butane joins Nova Corp? Gotta believe the Lensmen would think they are all intergalactic invaders and do something about them.
ReplyDeleteReally it would be crazy to do Ambush Bug and Deadpool. I read a fan-battle between the two of them and it comes across as a more 4th Wall splitting Worlds Funnest.
Bug from the Micronauts should show, of course and AB and Deadbug can discuss their various counterparts, and in universe counterpart clones of counterpart characters.
