The Winter Soldier and James Bond

Production on The Falcon and The Winter Soldier for Disney+ seems to be well underway, with lots of set photos surfacing.  The streaming service set a high bar with The Mandalorian, so I hope the Marvel shows will be of similar quality.  I'm looking forward to seeing how USAgent is integrated as well as whether rumors of Baron Zemo setting up a team of Thunderbolts is true.

  1. Never say Never again. Since Bucky has become "timeless" he can team with any Bond incarnation that's needed for an operation...or agent of any kind.

  2. Whoa! For a second, I thought I was looking at the Spyral version of Nightwing!

"The name is Grayson. Richard Grayson. But, you can call me 'Dick.' "

"Sorry, old boy. I prefer P---y!"

  3. Yep!

This is definitely worthy of being a second part to yesterday's cover. Nice coinciding, Ross! :-)

  5. A couple of Manic Monday ideas: has Bond ever worked with S.H.E.I.L.D. or Checkmate?

Is the a "Spy Bar" where Bond, Fury, Spryal or Checkmate or KGB guys, etc. hang out at like the Magic Bar in JLA Dark or the bad-guy bars where the Rogues hang or the Scourge cleaned out?

  6. Pooh nice one Ross, now if you could match up Bond with Pennyworth (either the Fox or Epix version) you'd have a stunning 3 parter.

Since so many sleeper agents are involved, Bond with playing cards with agents on them for him to use:John Drake, Flagg, UNCLE, AVENGERS, SHIELD, and so on for the next part?

  8. Actually, if there's a third chapter to this tale, I think I'd want Captain American to be a part of it, or possibly Nick Fury.

Or... with these being sleeper agents, how about either of DC's Sandman characters, with the Jigglypuff Pokémon? #BadPunNoCookie

  9. On a lighter note: how about Mr. Planter replacing Jim Corrigan as The Spectre of Vengeance?

Ross could entitle it... "No Rest For The Nutty!"
