I really liked the original design for Lorraine Reilly as Firehawk. The flaming wings are a great visual and give the character a real sense of motion on the printed page. She was later redesigned with a blue flame motif, and that looked cool as well - but I prefer her appearance above, as it went well with Firestorm's costume.
Both Firestorm and Firehawk are highly underused characters. And they're both very cool.

ReplyDeleteYou know, I could see this being done as a real-world crossover. Assuming Typhoon was the super-villain who brought them together! If memory serves, he was a Firestorm foe...and Drake was his surname.

ReplyDelete@Films & HHH: Legends of Tomorrow has a pretty big cast right now. Some cast members -- Mona, Charlie, Nora, and Gary -- seem to have dropped off, and while some may return (I suspect that Mona and Charlie will be back in short order), the cast is still pretty thick for adding more right now. Should the Waverider crew drop far enough, though, Firehawk would be a good addition.

@Ross: Speaking of relatives, what if we were to discover that Victor Von Doom is a cousin of Judge Doom?
@RavenLunatic: I think Ross may have already done something similar, but I wouldn't mind seeing a bunch of feline-themed heroes (probably including at least one ThunderCat) in a Cats-themed cover. The villain of the piece (in the Macavity role) could be General Parvo from Road Rovers.
@Ross: And for another animal theme, maybe we can have Danger Mouse chasing Pinky & the Brain? (I'd still really would rather see them being investigated by the Question, or stealing the Infinity Gauntlet from Thanos, but Danger Mouse would be fun too.)
