Metal Men Vs. Godzilla

It has recently been announced that the Godzilla Vs. Kong movie has been delayed by several  months.  That's OK with me, I'd rather the time betaken to get the film just right. Godzilla: King of All Monsters corrected the main flaw from the first film in the series - not enough monster battles - but still had humans that were hard to care about and some very silly plotting.  If they can get the story up to the same quality as the special effects, they'll really have something special and go out in a high note.

  1. It’s always great to see an “I’d never have thought of that” cover.

On that note, how about Mandrake the Magician meets Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew?

  2. At least the Metal Men are being taken very seriously this time around. The idea of a " new member " being made of Nth Metal sounds intriguing on a couple levels. Plus new members from metals found on other worlds?

Meanwhile Godzilla is thinking MMs do melt in your hands! But if he has radioactive blood, wouldn't Lead be the only one who could safely carry the sample?

  6. Hard to care about, perhaps. But, definitely not impossible! And for all its alleged flaws, GKOAM 2018 was still far superior to the predecessor I like to call MATTHEW BRODZILLA.

As for getting a blood sample from this Godzilla? They might stand a better chance if they amalgamated into a dai-mekka form called "Alloy."

  7. Radioactive blood? Y'know, this just screams for a follow-up adventure with Spider-Man. (Do we want to know what'll happen if the MM are getting the blood for a transfusion?)

  8. @Bob Greenwade: please, no! We've already had Spider-Lizard and Spider-Hulk (back in the Eighties). We definitely _don't_ need a "Spider-zilla."

There was a character made of Nth metal in the Amalgam Universe. The character was called Black Vulture. Black Vulture was an robot amalgamation of DC's Black Condor and Marvel's Vulture. Black Vulture was a member of the Sinister Society and created to be a for of the Magnetic Men and Magneto.
