Mars Attacks the Planet of the Apes

Both of these properties have crossed over with other comics and franchises, but as far as I know they have never crossed over with one another.  It seems like a natural pairing to me.  I know that this would be one instance in which I would definitely be rooting for the apes!

  1. Considering what it took to defeat these off worlders the apes won't have much of a chance. Add in their saucers and weapons, what will the apes have to overwhelm the aliens. Can't think of much to help them other than the bomb that would destroy everything.

  2. @Comment; Like how you answer your own question about apes versus aliens. Another idea could be to drive the remaining mutants underground against the aliens.

  3. I think the apes' best bet would be to resort to trickery. I've yet to see Mars Attacks!, but I suspect that, depending on the iteration of PotA, they may still be doomed.

  4. I'm surprised it took as long as it did before someone decided to do "John Carter, Warlord of Mars" & "Mars Attacks"!

  6. How about Spidey from the Electric Company with Adam West's Batman?

"Electric Company? You should get a Utility belt."

  7. There used to be a REAL Planet of the Apes/Alien Nation crossovor comic book by Malibu Comics, called Ape Nation.

  8. Which gives rise to the question: "When will Mars Attack the Alien Nation?"

I can just picture the Martians holding their ears against the combined yodeling of George Francisco and Billy Joel. If you see what I'm getting at-at-at-at-at-at-at. ;-)

  9. "When will Mars Attack the Alien Nation?"
When there is green Fire streaking thru the sky and Sunspots hamper communication.

  12. Rats! No "Mars Attacks Alien Nation," this morning.

Ross must have thought I was just joking. :-(

  15. I'll see if my local direct-sales guy can order the trade paperback. Hopefully, it'll prove easier to get than "War of the Independents Number Five!"
