I always liked the look of the original Daredevil. It's such a simple costume design, but the red/blue split works so well. Add in the spiked belt for an air of danger, and you have something very sleek and cool. It's no wonder that modern artists have not felt the need to update it very much when presenting new adventures of the public domain hero.
you know think this is my favorite cover of the month
ReplyDeletehave daredevil vs capt boomerang or marvels boomerang
ReplyDeleteMaybe the Daredevil on the cover could team up with HARVEY COMICS' Black Cat.
ReplyDeleteThe Batman logo would indicate this happens in '66... what could they possibly be recruited for...?
ReplyDeletedaredevil marvel vs ten eyed man?
ReplyDelete@Air Dave: a mission into the PRC against the Skrull-like giant Claw?
ReplyDelete@carycomic: more likely, they were sent to rescue a certain brainwashed hornhead from Hydra.
ReplyDeleteSomehow this Daredevil would almost seem more fitting with Harley Quinn (in her original outfit).
ReplyDeleteI'd also like to see this Daredevil teamed with (or fighting against) Harley Quinn... but with that belt of his, I'd hate to see what would happen if he hugged her!
ReplyDeleteDaredevil and the 3-D Man? Versus Two-Face?
ReplyDeleteHow about Daredevil (Matt Murdock) and Nightro (a somewhat blind Golden Ager now in the public domain)?
