Shazam! has finished filming and now the movie is in the visual effects stage, so hopefully there will be enough completed to show us some footage soon. The film promises to finally have some lighter fare in contrast to the heavy goings-on that we have seen in the DCEU thus far, so I have hope that it will mark a turning point and strike a positive chord with audiences.

ReplyDeleteHow about Ryan Reynolds as Dr. Sivana? Think about it! Smooth out the facial wrinkles, exhibited in all the trailers for DEADPOOL 2; add a white lab smock and a pair of pince-nez glasses; and voila!

Hmmm... Too tall (then again so is Mark Strong) - maybe Jackie Earl Haley?
ReplyDeleteMary actually gets her strength from Hippolyta, but that's not really important. She can be allowed that much dramatic license, and this is still a cool cover.
ReplyDeleteCasting Dr. Thaddeus Sivana: How about Martin Short? He's not particularly tall, and is a much better actor than most people give him credit for.
