This might be a fun match up. Two incredibly powered creatures that nevertheless have strong ties to humanity despite their outward appearances, one silent and passive and the other eloquent and aggressive.

Whenever the Demon shows up here, I've come to anticipate some well-crafted rhymes. This is no exception. And the story's title is a well-crafted twist on a well-used turn.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite Etrigan victory: That storyline which guest-starred the Haunted Tank crew and their "friendly ghost", where they foiled a paranormal Ratzi plot.
My favorite Etrigan defeat: In the "Quiver" story arc, where Green Arrow gags him with a fire extinguisher arrow.
Batman: "I will never--NEVER--mock your trick arrows again."
