This cover is another suggestion form comics historian and Patron of this blog, Marc Tyler Nobleman, and one that I was surprised that I had not done yet. I expect that by the end of the upcoming Black Panther movie, Bucky Barnes will be released from his stasis tube, because I have read reports that he will be fighting alongside T'Challa to fend off the forces of Thanos and protect Wakanda during Avengers: Infinity War. That sounds like an awesome sequence.
Always love me some Unknown Solider. His ability to get the mission accomplished, and get out of any trap, is wonderful to read. In many ways his stories from the 70s remind me of Batman, but without the cape or utility belt.
ReplyDeleteThe bound-and-gagged blonde could be the Golden Age Black Canary.
ReplyDeleteDamn, now THIS is an inspiring pair up. Love it!
ReplyDeleteNumbering is wrong
ReplyDeleteGood catch, Anon, fixed now.
ReplyDeleteI use to have the Brave and Bold issue with Batman teaming up with the Unknown Soldier. I think it was the Earth 2 Batman. Shame he could have not been part of this team up, Even with Batman I could easily see this as a covert adventure of some kind.
ReplyDelete@Scott Cummins Could you please tell me the issues of those Brave & The Bold teamups? With so many vintage comics uploaded into online libraries now, its possible to now read any issue of any comic ever published!! What an age we live in, huh?
ReplyDeleteI just like the helpful info you provide for your articles. I will bookmark your weblog and test once more here frequently. I am moderately sure I will be told many new stuff right here! Best of luck for the next! My Blog: Moncler outlet
