I was interested to hear that brothers Donald and Steven Glover are going to bring an animated
Deadpool series to FXX. Not much more is known about the show, but they certainly have the comedy chops necessary for The Merc With a Mouth, so I will definitely be keeping my eye out for this one.
"Peace out."
ReplyDeleteGreat line!
Hawk and Dove die more times than Jean Grey...
ReplyDelete@ Dashoo: That's nothing compared to Capt. Jack Harkness. ;-D
ReplyDelete@Ross: Phenomenal cover! :-)
@Cary: BBC America ran a Torchwood marathon last Friday, so I could go for some Capt. Jack covers:
ReplyDeleteJack vs Wolverine: who heals faster ?
Jack in a pub with Mr. Immortal (Great Lake Avengers) and Immortal Man (Forgetten Heroes) swapping stories of goriest deaths, stinkiest places they woke up, etc.
Jack causing Deadpool to implode when Jack won't stay dead.
Torchwood vs. Section Zero: who gets to ALF first ?
@Jay Johnson: Or, for that matter, Deadpool vs. the Elongated Man, to see who has the reddest-and-blackest uniform.
ReplyDeleteClever cover Ross. Clever.
ReplyDeleteAs for the Deadpool animated series, it certainly seems like a no-brainer doesn't it? And on FXX where it doesn't have to worry about being kid-friendly? Wonder why they haven't done this a long time ago, especially around or after the movie came out.
@Cary: Jack is one of my favourite Doctor Who Companions.
ReplyDeleteOne week, Waverider is saying definitively about the villain in 'Armageddon 2001' that Hawk and Dove "fought him, they did not become him"; the next week, Hawk is revealed as being that villain... and their series, which I was enjoying, had to end.
ReplyDelete:(
@Simreeve
ReplyDeleteDon't be a sad dad! They had a series in the New 52!
Which stunk the joint up because of Liefield.
