It looks like DC has heard the fans loud and clear, and that Jay Garrick and the rest of the original Justice Society are finally poised to make a return... or perhaps I should say Rebirth. I applaud this move, their entire line is built upon heroic legacy, and the JSA'ers are the ones that started it all. Let's hope they will be back in their own series before too long.

Awp! This's amazing. I love seeing Golden Age hero's at any opportunity, esp the JSA. My first experience with them was in team up stories in Brave & the Bold and I fell in deep when they appeared in JLA Crisis stories.

Captain America and -- as a potential replacement for Bucky, of course -- Binky.

I wish I could get excited about the possibility of DC reviving the original Justice Society. I think that the only way I could feel certain that they weren't just going to find some way to ruin it is if they turned it over to writer Jeff Parker....

ReplyDeleteI actually quit buying DC comics after Flashpoint and I was a reader since 60s. I have many of the JSA on my my wall from a calendar. The company said it was a good jumping on point but I thought it was a good jumping off point. Emo Superman did not impress me. The changes in characters have not impressed me new 52 or post latest changes so I am looking but not buying yet.
