Given their involvement in the legal system, I can definitely see these two crossing paths and making life difficult for one another. Two-Face has always been my favorite Batman villain, from his appearance to his relationship with Bruce Wayne, to his duality schtick.
two gun kid vs two face or batlash vs kid colt
ReplyDeleteThere was a Daredevil / Batman crossover with Murdock and Dent going toe to toe in the courtroom. You should check it out.
ReplyDeleteOf course it would also be interesting to first see a courtroom battle between Harvey Dent and Matt Murdock.
ReplyDeleteLike you, Ross, I've been fascinated by Two-Face since I first came across the character, and for much the same reasons.
DareDevil is a natural foe of Two Face with Double D's. Now add a Double D Damsel to be rescued.
ReplyDeleteI believe Murdock and Dent matched wits, as their alter-egos, during the first BATMAN/DD crossover. A lot of fans (including myself) thought the plot of the sequel was far superior. As to this morning's cover? That blue moon shining down, on Hornhead and Two-face, has me wondering if they're on that Negative Zone penal asteroid at the height of the Superhero Civil War.
ReplyDeleteBecause a blue moon is the SECOND full moon in a month!
ReplyDeleteRoss, if you loved Two-Face, do not see "Batman Forever." I give Tommy Lee Jones lots of credit... he did his best with the part. But it was obviously directed by someone who had NO IDEA what Two-Face was about.
And that awful make-up!
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Ross. I like to half-seriously joke with people who did _not_ see it that Billy Dee Williams reprised the role of Harvey Dent. And that he was so traumatized by Maroni's aid that half his face became lobster-red. The other half; TLJ!
ReplyDeleteOOPS My bad; that should read "...Maroni's acid."
ReplyDeleteAnd the winner is: Warren and Faye's optometrists!
ReplyDeleteBut, the Best Picture is definitely Ross'. ;-)
