To make an effective face concealing helmet, you want an interesting design that looks interesting from every angle, and The Rocketeer is one of the best examples. Doctor Fate has another great design - it is much simpler, but its reflective quality keeps it an interesting visual. Darth Vader has another great design... I'd have to say that Kylo Ren missed the mark, though.
Hey! That's not a left hand! It's cool, anyway.
ReplyDeleteYeah buy you should see the left hand, it's huge!
ReplyDeleteFor face-concealing helmets, don't forget Iron Man! That one's pretty iconic. In fact, I think you almost could even make a team of such heroes, starting with Rocketeer, Doctor Fate, and Iron Man -- the Helmet Brigade, or the Faceless Ones, or whatever.
ReplyDeleteant from image meets ant man or wasp

ReplyDeleteHa! Don't our kids always kinda miss the mark?
I always like the pointy-eared Iron Man mask or the one with the nose! I hioe we;ll see a Rocketeeer reboot.
Hmmmmm! Considering Hellboy was still an infant when the Rocketeer was in his heyday, I'd have to guess that this would be a time travel adventure. Either with the big guy flung back into the past, or Eric Secord brought to the future.
ReplyDeleteI vote for the latter. Maybe as a result of Howard Hughes finding and repairing HGW's Time Machine!
