Presenting the conclusion to our Three-Part Epic!
I have heard that the post-credits scene for Doctor Strange will feature a teaser for the events that will unfold in
Thor: Ragnarok. Hopefully that means we will start seeing some promotional material for that film soon - I am very curious to see how Valkyrie, Hela, The Executioner and The Grandmaster will look in the film, not to mention a peek at the otherworldly locales and Hulk's battle armor.
oooh nice! if you read their spells backwards you can understand them -Captain Obvious
ReplyDeleteZatanna meeting Thor? EXCELLENT! This development has me reconsider my earlier guess. I now think JJ was substituting for Thor while the thunder god was trapped in the form of a frog (discourtesy of Loki).
ReplyDeleteI know everybody keeps telling you this, Ross. But, over-frequency doesn't lessen the accuracy of the statement. Marvel and DC should have _you_ in charge of their inter-company crossovers from now on!
^,Here, here! I second and third that motion. Mr.Ross has proven countless times on this blog why he'd be an ideal idea man when it comes to these fantasy match-ups. No bullshit.
ReplyDeleteKudos again to ya' for another well-laid out cover. Especially extra props for including Zatarra in addition to his more well-known daughter. He's a truly forgotten and criminally under-utilized as a character.
Marvel and DC should put out a monthly crossover comic called "DC Comics Presents Marvel Team-Up".... With Ross in charge of course. If Ross is unavailable, I'll volunteer.
ReplyDeleteHaha, thanks guys! Still haven't heard from Marvel and DC so they must be doing OK without my guidance!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dale about the "criminally under-utilized Zatara." Hopefully, DC's "REBIRTH" will see his return to modern reality (along with the the rest of the JSA). That would definitely be one of the few upsides!
ReplyDeleteAs to the inclusion of Zatanna in her bewitching half-tuxedo? Mucho props! Comic Vine once had a poll as to who would win in a fight; her or Superman. I aroused somewhat of a controversy when i shamelessly said that, if I were Superman, I would take one look at those fishnet-clad legs...and surrender without a fight. Superman's fans claimed that was blasphemous.
Zee's fans totally agreed with me. ;-D
Uh-oh; I think Loki's face has a date with Mjolnir... ;)
ReplyDeleteI'd say that's a safe bet, KC
ReplyDeleteI love the addition to J'onn's face to the line-up footer! Great add.
ReplyDelete@Tim: Not only added. But, placed dead center! :-)
