The Tick is back in Live action form thanks to Amazon, this time with Peter Serafinowicz in the title role. I have seen a couple of short clips from the show and I am not sure what to make of it yet. Serafinowicz looks like he is giving his all but after Patrick Warburton's performance it is hard to accept a new actor in the role. I'll have to see a full episode before passing judgment.
Spoon!
ReplyDeleteSpoon! The Tick! That's where it came from. Wow, caused a lot of conflict with other people like you wouldn't believe. I didn't know what was going on.
ReplyDeleteI ordered the Plastic Man cartoon from the '80s on dvd a year or so back, just to watch an '80s cartoon I never cared for. It was done too silly for my tastes, regardless of how comical the character was himself, yer not going to care about 'bad guys' like Captain Clam and the Hippotist.
But removed of '80s adverts for McDonalds and Burger King, they were a bit more enjoyable.
Careful, T! You don't want Plas taking the form of Bipolar Bear.*
ReplyDelete*Cartoon reference. ;-)
This is a great cover in most ways, but it offers no clue as to the story inside. I'd want to know who they're fighting. (Personally I'd hope for the Evil Midnight Bomber What Bombs at Midnight.)
ReplyDeleteThey're waiting for Woozy Winks. No idea what he's up to.
