Continued from yesterday's tale, we see why some family reunions can be awkward. I have four brothers and two sisters, so I have always enjoyed stories that deal with a family dynamic. It is cool to see the sibling relationship in play with characters like Hawk & Dove, Power Pack, Johnny and Susan Storm, Northstar and Aurora or even Shimmer and Mammoth.
Cool layout man. I always dig your stuff. This particular issue looks awesome. But Hawkeye looks dead.
ReplyDeleteThe Known Universe- That image of Hawkeye came from a cover showing his funeral (the villain's plan involved Hawkeye's funeral, but Clint turned the tables on him).
ReplyDeleteSo, the bald guy with the hooked left arm is supposed to be Crossfire? Reminds me more of the Silver Age Persuader (from the Fatal Five of LSH fame).
ReplyDeleteI doubt that's supposed to be Crossfire. I was just pointing out where the Hawkeye image came from, because the Known Universe said that Hawkeye looked dead.
ReplyDeleteHawkeye: Family or no, this guy forgot two things.
ReplyDeleteOne: He shoulda strapped me down even if I did look manageably down and out.
Two: He shoulda taken my bow.
Oh! And three: Let him bend over just a little further and I'm gonna clock him with this bow!
If he bends over any further, it will be to get a non-fatherly look at two of Helen's body parts he'd have NO practical use for! ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo who is that villain?
ReplyDeleteWith a black wig and an eyepatch? I'd guess Commander Kraken (an old foe of Iron Man and the Hulk, I believe).
ReplyDeleteThank you. Not a character that I remember, but I'll look up information about them now.
ReplyDeleteDo not forget Lightning Lord, Lightning Lad and Lightning/Light Lass. as well as X-Men such as Cyclops and Havoc & Colossus and Magik.
