Iron Fist and Miss Piggy

I have read reports that there has been some trouble with Netflix' ability to figure out the proper direction to go with concerning their upcoming Iron Fist series.  I loved what they did with Daredevil, so I am confident that they will work something out.  Still, if they want inspiration, they should look no further than Matt Fraction's Immortal Iron Fist run from ten years or so ago.  I'd love to see the first year or two adapted.

Thanks to Adam Stockman, a patron of this blog in excellent standing, for the crazy offbeat suggestion for this cover!

  1. Howard the Duck, Master of Quak Fu, would have been a appropriate partner for either one of them.

  2. Personally I'm still eager to see Grimm vs. Miss Piggy. (Poor Nick wouldn't stand a chance!) Once I'm able to afford Patreon, in fact, I'm going to make that my top request -- even above Wolverine and Ambush Bug, or the Inferior Five versus Galactus! (And teaming Access with Jenny Everywhere will be on the list too, FWIW.)

  3. It needs one more character to bring it together: Pig-Iron (from Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew).

  4. Ha! Yeah, Pig Iron seems like he would fit right in!

  5. IIRC, the Evil Empire of Disney owns both Marvel and the Muppets now, so this could actually happen.

  6. In that case, a sequel where Miss Piggy is being fought over by HTD, Master of Quak Fu, and Spider-Ham would not be amiss. Because, as Miss Piggy, herself, might say: "I'm sick and tired of being a Miss!"
