I am looking forward to what Marvel is going to do with Spider-Man now that they have a hand in his cinematic future. It will be interesting to see what they do to differentiate this new take from the Sam Raimi and Marc Webb versions. I liked parts of both of those franchises, but felt they missed the mark on a lot of aspects of the wall-crawler and his rogues as well, so I am definitely up to seeing the "official" Marvel entry.
No more origin stories!
ReplyDeleteDo that over the credits! We all know how Spider-Man got his powers. Get on with the Story.
There seems to be a rumor that Asa Butterfield from Ender's Game will be Peter Parker...
Nice matchup of the Ross Andru art. I see what you did there. Well done, as always.
ReplyDeletePrediction: Spidey will come back for Round 2 wearing an artificially intelligent ex-skeleton called "Alloy."
ReplyDelete(Sorry, Ross. I just couldn't resist the KINGDOM COME reference).
Great cover Ross, now if you can scrounge up some Andru & Espisito WW art to go with Spidey, we could have a part 2 of theis cover,
ReplyDeleteRed alert!
ReplyDeleteI just got back from a semi-sneak preview of AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, tonight. So, that might explain the sparse audience. But, as far as I'm permanently concerned? It was well worth the 2.5 hour-long running time!
One spoiler, though: no Ms. Marvel. Certain pre-release rumors to the contrary were wrong.
Now that right there is a team up. Two well defined ideas you wouldn't automatically think to put together and a mystery!
