It's been fun watching Barry Allen's rogues gallery growing on
The Flash. The announcement that Mark Hamill will be reprising his role as The Trickster was a pleasant surprise. The first episode featured The Weather Wizard, who has a brother waiting to take up the mantle in a future installment. Now that Captain Cold and others have been introduced as well, I look forward to them joining forces with one another to give The Flash a tough time, just as they have in the comics.
The Flash is probably THE breakout show on the CW.
ReplyDeleteIt's interesting that Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops will be recast for X-Men: Apocalypse. I almost hope that Halle Berry is cast as the voice of Vixen...
I never understood the Weather Wizard. He could have made billions bringing water to the desert, yet he chose to jack up banks.
ReplyDeleteCool cover bro! :-) maybe you can give us a Capt. America vs. Capt. Nazi crossover next.
ReplyDeleteRE: ED
ReplyDeleteI believe that was a point of contention that Barry had with the Rogues when they reminisced about him in the '90s.
First Solomon Grundy vs. Man-Thing, now this. I like the prospect if we're to be seeing more appropriate cross-company villain vs. hero throwdowns, rather than hero meeting heroes, for a change.
From the cover, I'm guessing Chris Claremont wrote this issue :)
With a title like "Climate Of Doom," I think that Weather Wizard was probably taken over by Doc Victor's astral body (using Ovoid transmigration)!
ReplyDeleteBatman meets the Partridges???!
ReplyDeleteOh, the pain. The pain!
I predict Storm will wipe the floor with this guy nine-and-a-half years from now. ;-)
