Man-Bat and Tigra



It's high time comic fans got to see both of these heroes in live action.  Now that Batman will be mixing it up with super powered allies on the big screen, there's no reason Man-Bat shouldn't make an appearance in his inevitable next solo film.  Tigra could be a good fit for either The Avengers or Agents of SHIELD on TV.  Special effects technology is finally at a place where these characters would look great onscreen.  I wonder which one will make it there first?

    Start with Greer Nelson as a SHIELD agent, I think.

    I just hope that Tigra and Man-Bat went their separate ways after dealing with Hydra. Because an insanely jealous Francine "the She-Bat" Langstrom would be twice as dangerous as the guys in green!

    How about Dr. Destiny taking on the 2 guys who have stolen his thunder over the years? Skeletor(his look) & Freddy Krueger(his m.o.). I would be rooting for the Doctor over the pale imitators. Warner Bros. really let him go to pot in the popular media over the years. He would now be seen in films as an imitator instead of the original that he was in the 60's(with his m.o.) & 70's(with his blue costumed skeletal look).

    @C.C.: Hear, hear! Doctor Destiny is one of DC's few silver age villains (aside from Flash's Rogues Gallery) to be revived in every decade since. The pre-Crisis JLA didn't have that many recurring villains (T.O. Morrow, Royal Flush Gang, Kanjar Ro?) for 250+ issues and he was one of the biggies. It is telling that the New 52 reintroduced him in order to kill him off almost immediately. It has always put more effort into symbolically destroying DC's history than in establishing a new one in its place.

    I think Tigra would present too much of an expense for a show like "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.", what with the full-body fur coat and the independently moving tail. Movies, sure, but not on a broadcast TV budget.
