Etrigan is another character that I really hope will show up on
Constantine, which begins this week. With so many shows featuring people transforming into vampires, werewolves and other creatures on a regular basis, I think audiences are ready for Jason Blood to make the leap to live action.
You know, it's always amazed me (with all their once-a-decade reboots) why DC never had Etrigan team up with Sir Justin the Shining Knight.
ReplyDeleteI was just goıng to suggest what Anonymous dıd. I would love to see all the characters assocıated wıth Kıng Arthur (from both Marvel, DC, and Independents) ın one huge team-up, hopefully wıth Kıng Arthur hımself.
ReplyDeleteA few of those medieval characters were in the first issue of the Vertigo "Madame Xanadu" series. If you get the first trade, the first ten issues form a pseudo origin story for Madame X, each issue covering a different century until Jim Corrigan becomes the Spectre.
ReplyDeleteNice blend of heroes, a natural one indeed. I'm just this month taking a close look at Kirby's Demon and next month The Black Knight becomes a focus.

Rip Off
This cover feels like a comic i would actually enjoy reading. A fantasy adventure with Black Knight and Etrigan sounds amazing.
