It was great to finally see Bobby Drake fully ice-up and use his ice slides in
X-Men: Days of Future Past, even if he did look a little odd with a beard. Hopefully we will see more from Iceman in future installments of the X-Men film franchise, now that it teems to have been revitalized a bit.
This is two Star Wars/X-Men covers in a row. Is this just a coincidence, or is there a plan behind it?
ReplyDelete(Yoda and Professor X would make for a really awesome meeting....)
Yup, by design... As I mentioned yesterday, this cover is the second part of the story!
ReplyDeleteYoda and Prof X would indeed be a formidable team!
And if Yoda and Professor X would make a formidable team on the side of the angels, how about the likes of Darth Vader and Apocalypse teaming up on the other side? Way cool, methinks :-)
ReplyDeleteNow that both Marvel and Star Wars are owned by Disney, it would be great to see Iron Man team up with Obi-wan Kenobi against...Iaco Stark! :-)
ReplyDeleteI dunno... Warner Bros. owns DC Comics and the Looney Tunes franchises. They did a kind of crossover about fifteen years ago, and it was completely forgettable.
ReplyDeleteIt couldn't have been _that_ forgettable, if you can still call it to mind. :-)
ReplyDeleteIceman's perfect and right at home on Hoth! ; D
ReplyDeleteDamn looks a mean cover, awesome stuff as usual Ross!
Sooo gotta have a Dr Doom with a green lightsaber VS Darth Vader in the future, that would be killer!
Doom and Vader are indeed scheduled to meet...
