The Hulk on The Planet of The Apes



One of the sequels I am most looking forward to is Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.  I was surprised at how much I enjoyed Rise of the Planet of the Apes, it turned out to be my favorite movie from 2011.  Still, the sequel seems to be a tougher film to pull off, and it will be interesting to see how they approach the continuing story of an ape populace gaining intellect as the human race is dying off.  Hopefully, it will live up to the standards of the first installment.

    It's a pity you're not quite so familiar with the Champions Universe (from the RPG). It would be interesting to see how you'd handle Dr. Silverback on the Planet of the Apes.

    Still, this is a cool cover. I haven't seen ROTPOTA, but I may go rent it just before the interquel comes out.

    I tend to think of "Rise" as a prequel to the 2001 "Planet of the Apes" (even though it's not officially such), so "Dawn" would be between them.

    You and me both, Bob! Caesar gets overthrown by Thade at some point. Otherwise, that memorial to the latter (at the end of POTA-2001)would never have been built.
